Our Educational Philosophy

Student's hands building computer

You learn best when you’re in a safe space, feel welcomed, and are surrounded by people who value your ideas and opinions. You’ll enjoy the experience even more when that learning is embedded in real-life, relevant problems and situations, that connect to your personal life or community.

MCT strives to make these conditions a reality for all students – in your core content courses, your career & technical classes, your advisement group, and while learning out in the community.

When you visit our school you will see students receiving targeted, direct instruction from a teacher; students working with a teacher in small groups; students collaborating with one another; and students working individually at computers to complete research-based online programs and teacher-created or and project-based activities.
