“Montbello Career and Technical High School’s vision statement is all about relationships and connecting with students. As a social worker, Sanice is always available for our students and putting Students First. Sanice’s connections with students and their families are at the core of the work she does. She is a pillar in the Montbello community and students, as well as parents, have her cell phone number. Sanice gives her time generously when she is at work and students know they can contact her on the weekend. This year, Sanice picked up students from home on her way to school when the parent was unable. During the holiday season, Sanice arranges food baskets to be delivered to some of our students’ families. Sanice’s care for all students and their success at MCT is key to their families’ smiles of appreciation and gratitude during school celebrations, recognition and graduation. We all appreciate Sanice for her authenticity and sincere long-lasting relationships she develops with the students and families. Students First belongs to Sanice Rhea!”
