Where are you from? How long have you lived in Denver?
I am originally from China. I came to the USA in 2000 and I have been living in Denver for ten years.
What were you like as a student?
I was labelled as a “ trouble kid” in elementary school and middle school. I became an excellent student once I entered high school when I realized I should use my intelligence to do something meaningful instead of making trouble.
What are your secret talents and/or hobbies?
I have an amazing short memory and I can memorize each page of a book like a picture. I enjoyed travelling, that is why I was a geologist. Right now I prefer gardening and fishing.
What is your favorite thing about being a part of the MCT family?
Just like the question said, MCT makes me feel it is a family. Students from MCT are respectful and willing to learn.
What is your favorite thing about your work?
I am passionate about math and I have my way to make students love and enjoy math.
